This easy vegan taco dip is quite delicious. You can use this dip as a dip or a taco topping. It is a non-dairy dip that all will enjoy. It is super simple to make, and it won’t last long. You can make this a regular recipe for your Taco Tuesday feasts. This post is all about an easy vegan taco dip.
This dip is outstanding. You can add any toppings you like, but after making this so many times, I think these ingredients are the perfect combo.
My husband likes using this in his tacos instead of as a dip. My kids love this dip with the Late July lime chips, as do I.
I hope that you enjoy it just as much as we do. You can make this dip for taco night or your next event.

Easy Vegan Taco Dip
Jump to RecipeStep 1: The Refried Beans
In a 7×11 baking dish, spread out one can of refried beans. I always grab a can of the Good and Gather beans at Target.
Step 2: The Red Onion
Then, add a half cup of diced red onion. You could use any onion, but the red onion tastes so good in this dip. To be honest, red onion is my favorite addition to dips and recipes.
Step 3: The Bell Pepper
Then, dice up one bell pepper and sprinkle it over top of the other ingredients. You select any color bell pepper you like. With the red salsa and onion, I like an orange or yellow pepper with this dip.
Step 4: The Fresh Salsa
Next, layer on some fresh salsa over top of everything else. I usually use a cup or two depending on how much I have on hand.
Step 5: The Plant-Based Cheese
Then, top this dip with a cup of plant-based shredded cheddar cheese. There are so many options in stores. You can normally find this at Target, Aldi, or Whole Foods.
After you layer on the cheese, you can refrigerate the dip for thirty minutes or you can just dig right in. Again, this dip is an excellent taco topping too!
