Strawberry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
Step 1: Add the Strawberries
Add two cups of strawberries to your mixing bowl. You can use thawed, frozen strawberries or fresh ones. Either way, the ice cream will taste delicious. If you are going for more of a chunky strawberry ice cream, you can slice them up thicker. I had to slice mine smaller since I have younger kids who could choke on a chunkier consistency.
Step 2: Now The Chocolate Chips
Add one cup of chocolate chips to the mixing bowl. You can use milk chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips. I used the Good and Gather brand of milk chocolate chips for this ice cream. I also love the Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Premium Baking Chips too. The bottom line is that any chips will do.

Step 3: Cool Whip
Use an entire container of Cool Whip. Yes, that’s 16 ounces of creamy goodness right into your mixer.
Step 4: Mix It Up
Then, mix those three ingredients together.
When you use your KitchenAid, you can use the white-coated flat beaters. Just make sure you use a slower speed to mix the ice cream. Of course, if you have the ice cream maker attachment and mixing bowl, you can use that too.

Step 5: Add the Sweetened Condensed Milk
Then, using any brand of sweetened condensed milk, add 14 ounces of it into your mixing bowl.
I am on a Good and Gather kick right now, so I selected this brand. They have fabulous snacks for kids, and their nacho cheese is amazing too.
Step 6: Add Heavy Whipping Cream
The next step is to add 16 ounces of heavy whipping cream to top off your recipe.
Step 7: Mix
Mix all the ingredients together. Again, remember to mix it at a lower speed for the best consistency.
Step 8: Pour and Freeze
Then, using a freezer-safe container, pour the ice cream into the container and freeze for at least eight hours.

We loved putting chocolate and strawberry syrup on our bowls, but also sprinkles would make a nice topping choice as well.
