Sloppy Joe Pie
Jump to RecipeStep 1: Prepare the Ground Meat
First, start browning your meat. You can use about two pounds of ground meat. I used the 85/15 ground meat, but you could also do this recipe using ground turkey meat or ground chicken.
Step 2: Add Sauce & Chilli Beans
Then, cover in Sloppy Joe sauce and a can of chili beans.
You could include a veggie mix into your sauce or a can of carrots and mushrooms to add more veggies.
Step 3: Form the First Layer of Pie Crust
Using about one and a half containers of pie crust, cover a 9×13 baking dish with crescent roll dough. The Aldi version of the rolls works perfectly too.
Step 4: Add Sloppy Joe’s
Then, add the entire mixture of Sloppy Joe.
Step 5: Cover the Pie
Then, put another layer of crescent roll dough over the top of the mixture.
Step 6: Bake that Pie
Then, bake the pie at 375 degrees for thirty minutes.
