According to their site, Seventh Generation Disinfecting Cleaners, Wipes and Sprays can be used against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use on the product label on hard non-porous surfaces. In essence, yes, they do in fact work to kill germs in a safe way.
Does Seventh Generation Spray Kill Germs?
To further the comments from above, this spray does indeed kill germs. According to the main website, it says that when used properly, it can effectively kill germs. As stated in their findings, the spray kills 99.99% of household germs, specifically: Influenza A virus, H1N1, Rhinovirus (type 37, the Common Cold virus), Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Escherichia coli on hard, nonporous surfaces.

I know what you are thinking. Even though I do not actually have pets, you are thinking if I spray that on my kids’ toys, can I spray that on my pets’ toys? Well, yes, in fact, you can. Let’s be honest, this cleaner is much safer than any other disinfectant you may use to clean your pets’ items.
Therefore, there is no judgement if your pet toys and your kid toys do get interchanged. I feel fine knowing that they are going to be cleaned either way. 🙂

Why Switch to Seventh Generation Disinfectant Spray?
As a constant cleaner, I believe in the power of bleach, and I trust the product works. As a mother, I need to be cognizant of the products I am using around my children. Therefore, I try to make more of an effort to find safer cleaning products to use around my kids.
If making these minor changes can lessen their exposure to toxic chemicals, I am all for the change. So I use this spray to clean off the high chair at night, their toys, and all the other surfaces they frequently use.
