Remove White Marks from Plastic
Step 1: Add Olive Oil to Paper Towel
Add a little bit of olive oil to a paper towel or a cloth.
Step 2: Wipe All White Marks
Then, go over all the white marks with the olive oil cloth. It works just like magic. You see the white marks and then you just don’t. 🙂
You might ask, where do the white marks come from anyway? Well, maybe these white marks appear when there is a lot of hard water being used to clean them. For instance, I stick my items in the dishwasher more often than not, and this is a consequence of that.
Once an item gets a white mark, just be sure to hand wash it once you remove the white mark or it will continue to happen as the plastic has broken down. Yes, this might be a pain, but for me, my kids will not eat off of a plate with a little white mark.
Step 3: Wash with Soap & Rinse
After the process, just wash with soap and water and start using your plastic items like you just bought them.

Now that you have your cleaning hack, use it when you need it.
