Create a Peep House tradition with your family. They will love making these cute little houses around the Easter holiday. You can be as creative as you like, and you could even have friendly Peep House competitions with friends and family. Our Peep House is pretty simple, and we started doing these little homes since my daughter is allergic to eggs. We can never dye eggs like the so to say normal Easter tradition goes, so we started our own tradition in these Peep Houses. They are cute, sweet, and can be an easy Easter decor item in your home. This post is all about a Peep House.
After dying eggs as an Easter tradition with my family when I was little, I knew that I needed to come up with something to do with my daughter that wouldn’t involve an egg. Of course, there could be plastic egg hunts and eating chocolate eggs, but that wasn’t the same as making something together in the kitchen.
These little Peep houses have given us that exact opportunity. Now, I love standing over the Peep House creation while we are stuffing in the materials while we build it. The icing on graham crackers is simply outstanding. Who can’t love an extra marshmallow Peep or two as well?
Send in your photos of your little houses and if you enjoyed the experience.

Peep House
Step 1: Gather Your Materials
You will need to have a dish for the house, icing, sprinkles, graham crackers, jelly beans, and peeps.
Step 2: Ice the Plate
Then, just put a layer of icing all over the plate as you prefer. You can even dye the icing green too.
Step 3: Secure the Graham Crackers
Then, secure the graham crackers onto the icing. You’ll have to ice the sides of the home together. Once the icing dries, the house will be secure.
Step 4: Decorate the Roof
You can decorate the house with jelly beans. We went with the SweetTart ones because they are so good. Make sure to use a regular size, so that they aren’t too heavy for the house.
Step 5: Sprinkle the Lawn
You can then cover the lawn in sprinkles. We went with the floral spring collection for some soft pastels and a brighter look. Also, you could dye the icing green and then sprinkle the lawn with the flowers. That looks nice too. Last year we did that.
Step 6: Add the Peeps
Then, place the little Peeps in and around the house. We used pink bunnies and yellow chicks, but any combo will work.
A New Peep House Tradition
Now that you have created such a cute Peep House, enjoy this tradition for years to come.
