Step 3: Add the Peanut Butter and Mix
Then, add in a cup of peanut butter, and then mash that in with the bananas. Of course, if you are trying to avoid a nut allergy just substitute the peanut butter for Sunbutter or another nut-free substitute of your choice.
Step 4: Add the Oatmeal
Then, add in 3 cups of quick oats. I used the Good and Gather Quick Oats for this particular recipe.

Step 5: Add the Chocolate Chips
Next, add a cup of chocolate baking chips. You could use milk or dark chocolate chips. I used milk chocolate chips this time, but either choice is delicious. If your kids are around while you are baking, beware that they may try eating every last morsel.
Step 6: Mix the Ingredients
Then, mix all four of the ingredients together. You’ll be surprised how easily everything blends together. For the mixing process, I used a wooden spoon. It just seems to make mixing easier.
Step 7: Spray the Pan
Then, using a standard 9×13 baking pan, spray it with cooking spray. This way, you will get the bars out of the pan easily.
