No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
For this recipe, it is best to use your Kitchen Aid or a handheld mixer. You could also use an immersion blender as well. The texture of the pie might differ with the blender, but with the mixer, you will achieve a creamy texture that is simply outstanding.

Step 1: Add the Cream Cheese
Start this recipe with a half cup of cream cheese. I just used the Good and Gather brand, but any brand of cream cheese will work.
Step 2: Add the Peanut Butter
Then add in a cup of peanut butter. For this recipe, use creamy peanut butter. Put in your favorite brand. I used JIF for this recipe.

Step 3: Now the Sugar
Then, add in a cup of confectioners’ sugar. Make sure that it is the confectioners’ sugar and not just powdered sugar.
Some may ask, what is the difference between powdered sugar and confectioners’ sugar?
For a recipe that uses powdered sugar, check out this birthday party snack mix. It’s an easy recipe that is loved by kids. It is a great treat bag idea too.
Just make sure that you use confectioners’ sugar for this pie.
Step 4: Mix the 3 Ingredients
Then, before you add the Cool Whip, be sure to mix the cream cheese, the peanut butter, and the confectioners’ sugar together.
During the process, be sure to keep an eye on the mixer as this mix thickens quickly.
Don’t worry about this though, because once you add the Cool Whip, it all comes together.

Step 5: Mix in the Cool Whip
Then, use an entire 8-ounce container of Cool Whip because why not. 🙂 Add in a scoop or two at a time to be sure that it evenly mixes in with the other ingredients.
Cool Whip helps break up the thick filling and make it a smooth creamy center for the pie.
Step 6: Pour Inside Pie Crust & Refrigerate
Once you are done with the mixing, pour the filling inside of the pie crust. Then, put it in the fridge for at least two hours before adding any toppings.
You could use any pie crust you like. I love the chocolate oreo crust the best for this recipe.
You could also use the little mini pie crusts too.

Step 7: Top with Cool Whip
Once the pie is refrigerated for at least two hours, take it out and top it with Cool Whip. Of course, you could just eat it without completing steps 7-9, but these toppings are just so good.
I used about four ounces of Cool Whip on top of the pie. You could use more or less depending on your love for it.
Step 8: Top with Chocolate Syrup
Then, using Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup, top the pie with a little chocolate drizzle. It makes for a beautiful topping too.

Step 9: Add Baking Chips
Finally, sprinkle peanuts or peanut butter baking chips on top. I used the baking chips by Reese’s for this topping. They are amazing to just eat on their own too!
Also, you could crush up Reese’s peanut butter cups and sprinkle those on top too. Really, any additional chocolate or peanut butter candy would be a delicious topping.
Can You Freeze a No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie?
Yes, in fact, you can freeze this delicious no bake pie. Also, that makes life a lot easier when planning a party or a holiday event.
Just make sure to put out the pie 30 minutes prior to serving it if you freeze it. That way, you will easily be able to slice it.

For most of the ingredients, you can substitute your favorite brands, but just make sure that you purchase confectioners’ sugar instead of powdered sugar. It will keep the pie creamy and the right consistency at all times.
Also, as for allergens go, you could use nut-free butter-like sun butter as a substitute. This pie is also egg-free, which is great for my daughter who has an egg allergy. Before she grew out of her nut allergy, we used this Wow Butter instead of peanut butter.
Enjoy the recipe!
