Method Squirt and Mop can do so much more than just shine your wood flooring. This time-saving product works well on other household items and perhaps may replace a few of your other cleaning products. This post is all about Method Squirt and Mop.
For this particular cleaner, I really picked this up at Target because I just loved the scent. Yes, the scent is quite magical! It has that sweet almond smell that really reminds me of an almond-flavored wedding cake.
So really anything that smells like cake or sweets is definitely worth trying out in my book. Also, I knew that it would more than likely be a successful cleaning purchase as I do love Method!
Well, it does turn out that I really do love this product for more than the scent. Daringly, I tried this product out on my most beloved household furniture, and fortunately, I was impressed with the results.

Food Allergy Verification
As a mother of a child with food allergies, I totally understand these types of concerns. Sadie has been allergic to a variety of foods, and now thankfully we have it down to just eggs.
Furthermore, now that we have that matter covered, we can move onto how the magic of this delightfully scented cleaner works.
Lamp Posts
With a little bit of the cleaner on a rag, I was able to easily clean my dusty lamp posts, and even the crevices were shining afterward.
Now, to be honest, my lamp posts are definitely not real wood. They are just cheap lamp posts; however, the cleaner still worked well on this type of surface.
Method Squirt and Mop on Wooden Furniture
In my entryway, I have a table that has been in the family for years. With this table, I was able to clean off the dust easily, and it really did look much cleaner.
Not to say that I don’t love Pledge, but this cleaner does claim to be ‘clean’ and environmentally friendly. Nonetheless, if this Method product works, I am definitely going to select this over something with tons of chemicals.
Method Squirt and Mop on China Cabinet
Additionally, my China cabinet is another item that has been passed down from generation to generation. To be honest, it is very worn and really I used the Method Squirt and Mop to give the wood a little lift. Well, instantly, it made a difference. The cabinet looks newer, and it is definitely cleaner due to this solution.
Prior to using this product, I normally clean my cabinet with Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Care cleaner. Nevertheless, Method will be my new go-to cleaning product.
Not only did it work, but again, it just smells amazing!
Method Squirt and Mop on Picture Frames
Using this magical little cleaner, I dusted off my picture frames and they really do look much better. In fact, I’d say that this cleaner is a polishing product too. Moreover, it really seems to restore the wood.
Needless to say, I will be using this product in addition to the Swiffer Duster as well.
Laminate Flooring
So considering that I am always cleaning my floors, this before and after doesn’t show that much of a difference. Nonetheless, you are going to just have to take my word for the fact that this cleaner is safe to use and actually works on my laminate flooring.
Also, I did use a plain mop to apply the cleaner. First, I squirted the cleaner and then glided the mop over it to do a quick clean.
Hardwood Flooring
With this mop from the Dollar General and the Method Squirt and Mop, my hardwood floors did look great. Of course, I still love my Bissell Mop too.
In fact, I will keep these two products near by if my other mop is low on batteries or charging.
