This recipe is all about a Lucky Charms Treats Recipe.
When we went on our staycation in Pittsburgh a few weeks ago, the girls were enjoying bowls of Lucky Charms cereal each morning, and it reminded me of this delicious 3 ingredient recipe.
It’s funny, even though we let our girls eat pretty much everything, we don’t buy sugared cereal. Now, they eat plenty of popsicles, but because my husband and I never had sugared cereal in the house as kids, we don’t buy it either. However, on vacation, we always have it for breakfast. The girls’ favorite sugared cereal is definitely Lucky Charms. There is just something about the marshmallows that makes it so good!

Lucky Charms Treats Recipe
Jump to RecipeStep 1: Start with the Butter
On medium-low, melt a stick of butter. I used salted, but unsalted would work as well.
Step 2: Add Some Marshmallows
Then, add in half of the 10oz bag of mini marshmallows. I like working with the mini marshmallows for these types of treats because they are easier to melt with butter.
Step 3: Mix The Two
Then, mix the two ingredients into a fairly thin consistency. It isn’t easy to mix marshmallows as they are so sticky, but this isn’t that difficult with the mini marshmallows.
Step 4: The Lucky Charms Cereal
Then, toss in 7 cups of Lucky Charms cereal into the pot of hot melted marshmallows and butter.
Step 5: More Marshmallows and Mix
Then, toss the rest of the marshmallows on top of the cereal and mix it all together.
Step 6: Pour Into Baking Dish & Refrigerate
Once you have everything evenly mixed, pour the treats into a 9×13 baking dish covered with parchment paper. Be sure to smash the cereal into the pan evenly and to go to the edge so that the treats are easy to cut up. Refrigerate the bars for thirty minutes before serving.
