This homemade window cleaner is easy to make and will keep your windows looking clean and shiny. With just two ingredients this homemade cleaning spray is a budget-friendly cleaning product that really works well. This post is all about a homemade window cleaner.
With these few simple steps, you can enjoy your shiny windows in no time. I was just talking about window cleaning with my gram the other day, and I asked her what her mom used to clean windows. She said white vinegar and water, so I figured I would try it out. Without a doubt, the solution worked wonders.
Sometimes those homemade cleaners really are more powerful than the ones in stores. Plus, with the price of cleaning supplies increasing, this is undoubtedly a budget-friendly way to keep your windows clean all the time.
Recently, I decided to toss my window blinds, and just use curtains. Now, when I sit on the couch I notice my dirty windows immediately. This cleaning solution will make the process much easier to do more often, and I will no longer cringe when sitting in my living room.
I hope that you enjoy this simple window spray too!

Step 1: Add White Vinegar and Water
Be sure to add in 12 ounces of white vinegar and 12 ounces of water.
Step 2: Shake & Spray
You can use this spray bottle or pick one up at your local dollar store too. Just add the vinegar and water to the bottle, shake it, and you are ready to go.
Step 3: Fan the Squeegee
Once you spray the entire window, use the squeegee to clean the window. On a wider window, it seems to work best to fan the squeegee to remove all the streaks.
Step 4: Wipe the Squeegee & Repeat
Be sure to wipe the squeegee off with a cloth and repeat the steps until all your windows are looking good.
