Be sure to use your food processor for this recipe. If you have a high-powered Vitamix, you probably could do this recipe in that machine rather quickly.
Jump to RecipeStep 1: Add the Frozen Bananas
In your food processor, place four frozen bananas.
I always buy extra bananas to toss into the freezer because they are so good in smoothies.
Step 2: Add the Cocoa Powder
Then, add a quarter cup of unsweetened cocoa powder. You can use Hershey’s or whichever brand you prefer. It just smells so good!
Step 3: The Peanut Butter
Then, add two tablespoons of peanut butter. Be sure to use creamy peanut butter for the best consistency. The combo of peanut butter and cocoa powder really masks the majority of the taste of the bananas.
Step 4: The Milk
Then, add 6oz of milk to the food processor. I used unsweetened almond milk for this recipe.
Step 5: Process and Enjoy
Then, process the mixture until well blended and your preferable ice cream consistency.
