Fall Ribbon Wreath
Step 1: Gather Your Materials
For the materials, you are going to need, a wire wreath, 10-12 rolls of ribbon, a small fall sign, scissors, and a tape measurer.
You can find all of these materials at the Dollar Tree, but you could also find crafting materials at other stores like Michaels too.
Step 2: Cut Your Ribbon
Before you do anything else, cut the ribbons first. This is probably the most time-consuming process, so once you get this out of the way, you are good to go.
Be sure to cut all of your ribbons between 6 and 7 inches. This will give you an even full finish for your fall wreath.
Step 3: Secure Smaller Ribbon
For the smaller thinner ribbon, you can do a non-slip knot. This will allow the ribbon to permanently stay on the wire wreath.
Step 4: Tie Wire & Larger Ribbon Styles
You can tie the larger wider ribbons in a regular knot around the wreath wire. This allows the ribbons to naturally look like a bow.
Step 5: Fill Wreath
Be sure to fill the first ring closest to the center and then the third ring as well. You won’t need to do the one between the two or the outside as the ribbon fills the entire wreath perfectly.
You can sporadically place the different shades and patterns of ribbon or you can select to follow a certain pattern. Then, you can go back and fill anywhere with similar shades throughout to make your wreath full.
Step 6: Add Fall Decor Sign (Optional)
If you find a cute fall sign, you can hang it from the wire wreath and put a simple decor touch on your ribbon wreath. I put my ribbon wreath on my mailbox, so this envelope fall decor sign worked perfectly for my front porch look.
Please share your photos with your fall sign too.
