With only five ingredients, this cake recipe is just sweet and simple.
Since they diagnosed my daughter with an egg allergy, I have been trying out different ways to avoid using eggs in recipes. With this in mind, Greek yogurt has turned out to be a great substitute. In fact, this yummy cake doesn’t taste like it is missing anything, but it is completely egg-free.
Moreover, this strawberry bundt cake is especially moist and delicious.

Step 1: Preheat Oven to 350°
Start off your baking process by preheating the oven to 350°.
Step 2: Add a Vanilla Cake Mix
Then, empty the entire package of vanilla cake mix into the mixing bowl. You can use any brand of cake mix, but just make sure that it is vanilla.
Step 3: Add a Cup of Water
Then, add in just one cup of water.
Step 4: Add a Cup of Strawberry Greek Yogurt
Next, add in a cup of strawberry Greek yogurt. You can use any brand of yogurt, but it has to be Greek yogurt. This is because of the texture of Greek yogurt. The Greek yogurt serves as a binding agent replacing eggs, which is great for those with an egg allergy.
Step 5: Add a Cup of Fresh Strawberries
If you are one who doesn’t like fruit within your food, you could skip this step. Instead, you can put the strawberry jam over the bundt cake or you could fill the bundt cake with fresh strawberries in the middle.
Of course, if you are using this ingredient, just slice 1 cup of strawberries, and mix that all together.
Step 6: Mix It Together
Using a wooden spoon, mix all the ingredients together. In another post, I discuss how I am so happy that I registered for wooden spoons and a few other go-to kitchen items. Who would have known that these spoons would be so useful!
Step 7: Spray Bundt Pan
Be sure to spray the entire bundt pan with cooking spray. This bundt pan has always baked my cakes evenly. Here’s the link for the bundt pan.
Step 8: Bake for 38 Minutes
Even though you aren’t using eggs or oil, this bundt cake is still going to need to bake for thirty-eight minutes. This may shock you, but it really needs this much time. Of course, be ready to check it once the timer is at about 32 minutes. To ensure that it is ready, just use a toothpick to check it out.
Step 9: Flip That Bundt & Top with Powdered Sugar
Wait about ten minutes before flipping the bundt onto your dish. Then, be sure to tap all the sides of the bundt pan, and it should easily come out.
Then, using as much powdered sugar as you prefer, sift the powdered sugar on top of the bundt cake for a beautiful finish.
