DIY Lemon Face Mask

For this mask recipe, you can use a blender or a food processor. I used my Cuisinart Food Processor to mix the ingredients. It is dishwasher safe and easy to use.

Step 1: Add Honey

Start with a third cup of honey. You can use whichever honey you prefer.

Step 2: Add Coconut Oil

Then, add in a half cup of coconut oil.

According to Medical News Today, using coconut oil has the following benefits:

moisturizing dry skin, including in people with conditions such as eczema
reducing inflammation, which may result from UVB rays
promoting wound healing
antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties

With these benefits, you may want to do this mask a few times a week.

Step 3: Squeeze Lemon Juice

Finally, squeeze all the juice from a small lemon.

Step 4: Blend

Then, blend it into a smooth consistency.

Step 5: Apply Mask & Rinse

Then, apply a layer of this creamy mask to your face and even your neck. I put it on my lips too as you can see from the photo my face is super shiny all over with this mask on. It will be shiny and clear when applied. Also, you can leave this on for 10-15 minutes.
