Jump to RecipeStep 1: The Cake Mix
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then, add a vanilla cake mix to a mixing bowl. You can also use a yellow mix, but the vanilla gives the cookies that extra sweetness!
Step 2: The Eggs
Then, add two eggs.
Step 3: The Oil
Next, add a half cup of oil. You can use canola or veggie oil.
Step 4: The Candy Corn
Then, add a half cup to a cup of candy corn. If you want prettier more uniform cookies, use just a half cup for candy corn. If you use more than that, the cookies do get a little messy as the candy corn melts. You could also not mix the candy corn into the batter but place a few into each scoop when you prepare them on the tray prior to baking.
Step 5: Prep & Bake the Cookies
Then, place the cookies on a large cookie sheet covered in parchment paper or a silpat mat.
Be sure to leave space between the cookies as you should be able to place a dozen at a time.
You should be able to make at least 18 cookies with this recipe.
Be sure to bake the cookies between 16-18 minutes.
