Blue Zones Blueberry Smoothie
Step 1: Blueberries
Start this recipe with a cup of frozen blueberries.
For all of our smoothies, I use this blender. It’s easy to use and everything can be tossed into the dishwasher. That’s always a huge benefit during the morning rush.
Step 2: Cinnamon
Then, add a half teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Cinnamon has many health benefits, and it’s delicious.
Step 3: Lemon Juice
Then, add a teaspoon of lemon juice. It’s refreshing and adds a tangy taste to the smoothie.
Step 4: Spinach
Next, add a handful of spinach. I always grab a bag of spinach and try to stuff it into meals throughout the week without my kids knowing it is there.
Step 5: Milk
Finally, add a cup of milk. To be true to the Blue Zones choices, use plant-based milk. I added a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
Blend it all and enjoy!

- ! handful Spinach
- 1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
Instructions
- Add the frozen blueberries, cinnamon, lemon juice, spinach, and unsweetened vanilla almond milk to the blender and enjoy!
