Banana Chia Pudding
Jump to RecipeStep 1: Mash the Bananas
First, start by mashing two bananas. The riper the bananas the better. Also, if you don’t want to have the consistency of mashed bananas in your pudding, you can put the bananas into a blender for a smoother consistency.
If possible, start this recipe in a mixing bowl with a lid for easy storage.
Step 2: The Maple Syrup
Then, add a 1/4 cup of maple syrup.
Step 3: The Cinnamon
Then, add a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. This is an optional ingredient, but it really tastes better with cinnamon. Of course, if you’re not a fan you can skip this step.
Step 4: The Chia Seeds
Then, add 6 tablespoons of chia seeds to the mixing bowls.
Chia seeds are packed full of antioxidants and fiber, which are perfect for keeping you full until lunchtime.
Step 5: The Milk & Mix
Then, add a cup of almond milk. I like to use the unsweetened vanilla almond milk for this step. Once you have all the ingredients added, mix it all, and refrigerate the combo for at least two hours in the fridge.
