Homemade Apple Spice Donuts | Super Easy & So Delicous

These apple spice donuts are quite amazing. Not only do they smell delicious, they are delicious. Using just four simple ingredients, you can make these in a flash. They are the perfect brunch dessert for a fall get-together. This post is all about apple spice donuts.

The smell alone makes your house instantly transform into the fall season. This quick and easy donut recipe may make you wonder why you ever go out to get a dozen. This recipe is easy to follow and only requires four ingredients, which always makes baking so much easier.

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

First, start off by preheating the oven to 400°.

Step 2: The Cake Mix

Then, add in a box of spice cake mix. You can normally find one at your local grocery store. They are especially in stock closer to the fall.

Step 3: The Apple Cider or Juice

Next, add a cup of apple cider or apple juice. The combination of the apple juice and the spice cake mix is so delicious. Plus this recipe makes your house smell like fall.

Step 4: The Butter

Then, add a quarter cup of butter. This equals approximately 4 tablespoons. Be sure to melt the butter in the microwave. You can put it in the microwave for about 30 to 40 seconds.

I used vegan butter because I am avoiding all dairy products in my diet.

Step 5: The Egg & Mix

Then, add one egg to all of the other ingredients.

Then, mix all of the ingredients together using either a mixer or just a wooden spoon will work as well.

Step 6: Spray the Donut Tray

Be sure to spray the tray with cooking oil or cooking spray.

Step 7: Fill & Bake

Then, fill 16 donut molds.

Bake these donuts for about 10-12 minutes.

If you want, you can sprinkle them with a little bit of cinnamon sugar or just enjoy them as they are when they come out of the oven.
