Start by gathering your gift idea list, and then, you will easily be on your way to presents that you selected with thought and wrapped with care. You will be able to get ahead of your holiday to-do list and feel confident about your purchases.

Way 1: Make a List & Check It Twice
First, create a list of ideas for each person on your list. Use the form below to get started on what you are going to purchase for each person. Brainstorming ideas will help you save time when you are shopping online or even in the store.
Way 2: Start Shopping
Make sure to check weekly ad specials and add your wanted items to your shopping carts online. By adding these items to your carts, you will be able to check them daily to see if prices have dropped or if product availability is dwindling. Also, use this site to find the best prices for your gifts.
Way 3: Purchase Your Items and Keep the Slips
Feel confident and check out now. Why wait it out any longer? Of course, be sure to keep all of your receipts so that your friends and family can easily return their items if they don’t fit or don’t quite love your gifts. Yes, even though you put the thought into the purchase, they may still need this paperwork. Include the gift receipts with the purchase. Put the receipts in these small envelopes inside of the wrapped gifts. Sometimes it is best to be left in the dark if your friend or family member wasn’t a fan of the present. By putting the receipts in the bags, you will alleviate all of those awkward conversations afterward.
Way 4: Purchase Bags and Tissue Paper
Purchase plenty of bags and tissue paper so that you don’t have to run out to the store at the last minute. Plus, even if you don’t use all of these options, you can save them for the next year. These bags won’t ever go out of style and they are good options for all of the people on your list. I do love red and green tissue paper for the holiday season, but white is especially useful all year long.
Way 5: Purchase Wrapping Paper, Ribbons, and Gift Tags
Again, the more gift wrap the better. Plus there are several ways to utilize these supplies. Wrapping paper can really come in handy for a little extra Christmas cheer. You can wrap a few ‘fake’ gifts and place them in various places throughout your home. Let’s face it, you will be getting packages of all sizes in the mail, you might as well use some of those boxes as holiday decor.
After you are done wrapping, add some ribbon for an added touch. Also, the 72 pack of ribbons is a great piece to add to a holiday wreath, cookie exchange bags, or gifts. The ribbons also are a nice treat as they can be ornaments as well. I have used these gift tags for a few seasons now, and they are perfect for gifting a bottle or a homemade present in a ball glass jar. You can also use these tags as little ornaments as well.
Now, don’t forget the scissors and the tape. Avoid waiting until the last minute as I have searched numerous stores for that oh so valuable tape!
Way 6: Organize the Wrapping Process
Since you will probably have some leftover items, and a few items that you would like to keep from opening your own gifts as well, purchasing a storage container to get you organized will make the holiday clean up process not so dreadful. The hanging option would be great in a hall closet as it could be close to your entryway and therefore, all of your items would be ready to go for all gifting occasions throughout the year. The under the bed storage is also a nice alternative if you have additional space under your bed or a guest bed in your house.
The Last Ribbon is Tied
As the holidays are just around the corner, I hope that you find these steps useful and that you are able to take pleasure in the gifting process.
Enjoy the holiday season!
