Prime for the Shine
With this Beauty Blender Opal Essence Serum Primer, my thought process on primer significantly changed.
I always thought of it as a useless way to spend money. Then, I became a mom of two and realized that perhaps I need a primer. I need a glow when I haven’t actually slept more than three hours in a row or had my necessary water intake.
Let me tell you this primer is magical. I put it on right after I brush my teeth in the morning, and I notice my skin glowing and looking refreshed instantly. I know that might sound crazy but it’s true.
Conceal It All
This Tarte Shape Tape Concealer by far the best concealer I have ever tried and one beauty product I can’t live without.
At a very young age, I remember putting concealer under my eyes and that was when I slept at least eight hours a night.
I have always been extremely self-conscious about that particular area of my face. I have definitely gone overboard on concealer and I have looked at pictures with embarrassment at not the dark circles but the white paint under my eyes.
This concealer truly does give you a finished look without having to use several products to cover the dark circles.
Even though it isn’t the most hydrating concealer, when used in combination with the primer, it gives you coverage with a glow at the same time.
Add a Little Color
The Milani Baked Blush will give you the right amount of color instantly.
With all of the various blush products on the market, this inexpensive find seems to go the best at all times of the year.
I have to say that I over blush. I am definitely guilty of putting it on and then putting it on again and then one more time before I leave the house.
Even if you follow this same pattern, you will never over blush because the color doesn’t build up. It always gives you a naturally blushing look.
For Truly Luscious Lashes
A go-to old school product is L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara.
From my first major event as a teenager to my wedding day, I have always been loyal to this mascara.
Yes, I have purchased a few ridiculously priced products that have been marketed extremely well, but they have never been able to hold up to Voluminous!
This mascara is an all-time classic and will always lift my lashes when I feel like they just can barely peel off of my lids or better yet the pillowcase.
Last But Not Least
For a finished look, use this L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Definer.
I remember looking at photos from my mother’s younger years thinking WOW blue eye shadows were a huge hit, but now I have those same beauty regrets.
Although my beauty regrets are more beauty neglects.
I cannot believe that I neglected my eyebrows for all of those years. The inner workings of my facial expressions, my frames to my face, and I never even gave them a second look.
Obviously, that has since changed, and if I don’t remember to fill them in now, I feel like I left the house without clothes in a bad dream.
Now, my go-to is this easy brow definer tool. The brush is a huge plus as you only need this wand and tada – brow power!
