With so many ways to show your appreciation, there is still one timeless way to show your thankfulness. Send a simple thank you card to show you care.
As we approach Thanksgiving Day, we sometimes stress too much about finding the perfect recipe or the best holiday table setting to make the day so special.
We try to bake the perfect pie for our guests or get that old family recipe just right.
Don’t get me wrong, I am guilty of trying to plan the perfect this and that. For my family’s Thanksgiving feast, I am always in charge of making a side dish.
Two years ago, I had an epic side dish fail. I barely boiled the sweet potatoes before baking them, and low and behold, they were the only side dish that was still around hours after everyone ate.
So I get it. I am right there with you in the aisles of Marshalls looking for the perfect holiday runner and stunning centerpiece. I love holiday shopping! The thrills of the 60% off sales and the finds of seasonal decor must-haves.
With all of these items to purchase and recipes to make for the holiday, I ask that you simply sit down and write a thank you card to someone you may not see this year or send one to every person you would normally sit down to dinner with.
Some Thank You Note Options
In that little moment when you write those kind words, you will feel the true meaning of the holiday gathering, and even if you can’t share that sweet potato casserole with someone this season, you will share that same feeling of love and kindness.
End with Kindness
As you reflect on all of the amazing people in your life and your gratitude for them, remember that the season is and always will be about the love and cheer in our hearts.
Go and show your thankfulness and enjoy the holiday season!
